Silly Regressive letter…

Share

A note to the Regressives : if you’re going to write a public letter that’s full of sarcasm, don’t suck at it.

Also, stop lying. How does a bill that takes away workers’ rights, in your minds, “increase worker’s rights?”

Ah, it must be nice to live in a delusion.

Prepare to be amused.

Article on Walker’s worker-hating ways

Share

Here’s a pretty good article on Walker’s anti-worker, anti-environment, pro-business-no-matter-what-the cost habits.

Walker was never very good at math, and so he saw no contradiction in promising balanced budgets without raising property taxes, while maintaining county services and pledging to protect “the little guy.” While it’s true that he didn’t raise property taxes, he vastly overestimated revenues and underestimated (at least publicly) the cuts in services needed to keep his promises.

Walker’s anti-worker legislation stopped…. for now.

Share

In a sign that should clearly send a “You can NOT do whatever you want” message to Governor Walker, a temporary restraining order has been issued preventing the governor’s anti-worker legislation from going into effect. Dane County Judge Maryann Sumi’s ruling was because the Regressives did not follow proper procedure, breaking the state’s open meetings law. The law requires 24 hours notice must be given, and it wasn’t.

This is a good step towards restoration…

Comparing Walker & McCarthy

Share

I came across a pretty wonderful blog post this evening comparing the tactics and behavior of Walker and Senator Joe McCarthy. It really seems that Walker is already out of control, much like McCarthy was. Unions are Walker’s communists.

Both of these men stop at nothing to advance their agenda, regardless of the consequences.  Both men were loyal to their rich business friends (but aren’t all Regressives?). Neither of them seem to have any…

M&I Suffering Backlash…

Share

It’s pretty well known that some of M&I’s higher-level employees have supported Walker and his campaign. Recently, several of the labor unions including the Firefighters and Police, withdrew large sums of money from their M&I accounts as a demonstration of protest, and now another high-profile withdrawal has taken place.

Jeff Skiles, the co-pilot of the aircraft involved in the ‘Miracle on the Hudson’ has withdrawn his money from his M&I account.

Video : Wisconsin 14

Share

Pretty cool interview with State Senator Jon Erpenbach, one of the Wisconsin 14 who hid out in Illinois for almost a month to keep the Regressives from passing their incredibly harmful budget repair bill. Some pretty interesting insights and information.

Repubs change their minds : Dems not in contempt

Share

That was fast. JSOnline is reporting that the Republicans will not enforce any of the actions they decided to take against the Democrats and will longer be holding them in contempt of the senate. Thier voting privileges (rights?) have been restored, their staffs are allowed to use the copiers again, and the $100 a day fine that the Republicans imposed will not be collected upon.

Now the Democrats can return to being ignored by…

Dems still in contempt? But they’re back….

Share

Check this letter from the Senate Majority Leader out.

Please note that all 14 Democrat senators are still in contempt of the Senate. Therefore, when taking roll call votes on amendments and bills during executive sessions, Senate Democrats’ votes will not be reflected in the Records of Committee Proceedings or the Senate Journal.

The Senate Democrats are back in the state, and are ready to get back to working hard at being ignored by the…

I don’t have any clever commentary, but watch this speech by Dennis Kucinich at a Workers’ Rights Rally in Madison the other day.

Walker Booed at Fundraiser

Share

Wisconsin let Governor Walker know on Sunday that he is most definitely not welcome around those who he has no problem screwing. An estimated 2,000 – 5,000 people showed up outside of The Steak Pit in Washburn to make it known that they do not approve of his abysmal job performance. He was speaking at a Regressive fundraiser. A “we are the greatest, let’s pat ourselves on the back with $100 bills” party.

Wisconsin’s protracted
